Lepus is the star constellation of the leaping rabbit.
The actual lepus jack rabbits have very large ears and
long, slender bodies, which lend themselves well to primitive designs. This rug-hooked Lepus got tired of leaping and
is resting in a meadow of leaning trees and blue birds.
This pattern is shown as a door crown, but could also
hang on the wall or sit on a shelf. The bright blue birds
make a nice contrast against the soothing primitive colors
of this hooked rug design.
